          Probably more reliable?

I think the unreliable Lotus cars is a thing of the past now big guy.

You say that, but a friend of mine bought a 340R and the engine melted within 3 miles of the dealership. The replacement has been fine though. It did try to kill him at Goodwood during a 360 coming out of the chicane, but that's not Lotus' fault.

The 340R came out fifteen years ago, it's not much of a comparison to what goes on now. They still have their niggles of course, all low volume production cars do, but the current range is very reliable on the whole. A million miles away from the first Lotus I had, an ?lan SE, which was an utter turd.

Left a Subaru absolutely standing yesterday. Was on a 15 plate. I assume it was some kind of souped up WRX STI, had a badge on it saying "Justy". And I thought Subarus were supposed to be fast...

Loads of people in ski resorts have Justys (sp?) because 4x4 and weigh about 3kg. I've seen some with 2L impreza turbo engines...

Not quite in the same conversation as previous cars

But due to my daughter starting school on Thursday we needed a second car and I've just collected my wee city car

Skoda citigo greentech, drives alright and is quite comfortable, quite happy I did some homework as its a highly rated city car especially since I was going to get a Vauxhall viva which isn't so highly rated

Effing scum, knew it wouldn't take long for someone to grass him up once the footage was shown

A man is charged after a £100,000 Aston Martin was allegedly "keyed" in a supermarket car park in east London.

As a teenager the cars of desire (that were realistically attainable) among me and my friends were the MK1 Mexico, RS2000, XR2 and XR3i. I did have one rich mate with a Saab 900 Turbo though.

All old tin is fetching silly money now, my brother is even considering selling his 2.8 injection Capri before the bubble bursts. Which it will.
