Mine came from The Good the Bad & The Robots.

My last 5 HT figures have all been from there & it's been a stellar service from them.

I'll be ordering Robocop from them as well

Just need to decide if I can justify the extra for the chair or not.

Hope it's not too much longer till he arrives for you, he is freaking amazing, one of the best figures they have ever put out.
I'll hopefully get some time for some proper pics in the next day or so once Chole's Christening & Birthday are out of the way

Neil, are you going to buy Ed to go with Robo?

It amazes me the love for Robocop. I really really think its a terrible film and even if the film was great Robocop has to be one of the lamest designs ever!

It baffles me, it really does.

I would love to get the ED 209 and even the baddie from the second movie, but way too expensive (well, at least ED 209). Robocop himself...not.

Hopefully but I'll have to see how I get on before I take the plunge.
Good news is they aren't due till around this time next year so plenty of time to save.

For me it's part of my childhood.
Like Transformers it's just a big part of growing up for me.
I first watched it on Pirate when I was 11 at a friends house (it was the first 18 I ever saw) & I got it for that Christmas from my parents on VHS (which I still have) & I've loved it ever since.

I've always wanted a Robocop figure & missed out on the original HT release & Sideshows Premium Format both of which became to expensive to contemplate.
I do have the Movie Maniacs 7" figure but this will be an awesome addition

No worries man happy to help
My Hot Toys collection is pretty much Batman only now.
I have the '89 Keaton Bats & Nicholson Joker
Dark Knight Rises Batman & now Joker 2.0
My other figure is Jack Sparrow who is pretty much just about the best figure HT have ever produced

Yep HT stuff is immense, the early stuff is looking pretty ropey but the current stuff is just amazing.

                  No problems with the link.
Lee is a diamond & will answer anything you need quickly.
If you happen to be a member of AV Forums or Sideshow Freaks he posts on there under the ID of - The_One so you can always PM him & he'll get back straight away.

That new Spidey figure looks pretty good but I just never really felt the need to have him in the collection.

The Man of Steel figures might be a different matter though

Well to hopefully make the wait better I took a few more shots tonight while Chloe was asleep after her christening...

Comes with an utter feck load of Extras too...

You honestly won't be sorry when he finally arrives

                  Neil

Must be trollin or doesn't know what good design is obviously.

Something tells me that they won't be making figures of Joel Kinnaman's version in twenty-five years time.

Not trolling at all. I just don't get the fascination with the character or the movie at all.

A metal guy wearing a helmet isn't exactly an amazing design concept is it. It certainly never resonated with me as a kid, all i remember as a kid about the movie was where the henchman gets covered in acid and then splattered. I never saw Robocop as a hero or cool, he was always just creepy and broke down a lot.

Congrats on Joker Neil, i've seen some amazing set ups using the chair and tables etc with the guns and money laying about, is that how you will display him?

I was going to say that you definitely weren't trolling.
We all have different tastes & Robocop has always been a love it or hate it thing, many of my friends don't get my love for it either, just one of those things

                          Thanks buddy
Not too sure on the pose yet, I've seen loads of the Jail cell scene so will probably aim for something traditional, but I think I'll have to re-watch the film to get some inspiration

A Ferrari is essential a box on four wheels too.

Robocop (as with most Verhoeven movies) work on many levels. People who think they are just dumb action films don't really get it. Starship Troopers is another good example.

Still no sign or word about my Joker from ToyHQ....Slightly peeved to say the least.

On a positive note.I received a phone call from Lee(from The good, the bad & the Robots) Had a right chin wag for a good 15 minutes.
Nice guy,who actually seems to care about his customers.Needless to say i will be doing all my buying from him now.

Thanks Neil, for letting me know about this guy!!
