How long before the forum Halloween ghosts are turned off?

Amusing for about thirty seconds, now just annoying.

In theory they should have turned themselves off by now (I put a finish date.....)
How about some fireworks instead, or to fool people into thinking they are getting a migrane.

In The Sun it literally is non-news, because they make it up (I know, I'm as shocked as you are).

Now we wait for the correction re aiming for the highest editorial standards.

I like the fact the name of the image is "Sun_wankers.jpg"

I nicked it from Twitter and the file name was a random jumble of letters and numbers. I renamed it to something more descriptive and appropriate

You may as well read the National Enquirer.

The suns for adults that still like to read comics but don't like to admit that they would rather read the Beano,

They should use that as advertising

The Sun its like the Beano but with tits and storys about pedo's

I love the corrections in papers like The Sun and The Mail. Not so much corrections as "whoops, it seems we made this entire story up".

If we do get some form of press regulation I'd really like it if corrections to stories that turned out to be false had to be on the same pages and take up the same amount of space as the original story. None of this print a pack of lies on the front page and then correct it in a tiny box on page 28 bollocks. Maybe then they wouldn't actually print the lies in the first place!

I work in local media, and can't believe these national papers/sites don't get stories confirmed before printing.
Is happening more and more and they just make themselves look like total assholes.

The book 'Flat Earth News' is an excellent insight into the state of modern journalism.

Double yellow lines painted in a Lincolnshire conservation area cause a stir because they are too wide and too bright.

"Town's yellow lines 'too yellow'". I had a chuckle at this. All the action is in Britain at the moment!
