Originally posted by FSW View PostI used to be very anti fb. These days I use it to keep in touch with real friends who now live abroad. I'm a member of a local photography group on there and we have a group for our music appreciation group that helps us organise meet ups and keep track of notes. In short it's really useful. I have about 20 fb friends, all real friends that I see regularly (other than those abroad). I do have someone in my fl who apparently has several hundred friends; more people than I've actually even met in real life.
321 is also a fraction of the people I know in life too. If I added everyone I have had a drink, good time, event, etc with it would be well into the 1000's.

Don't have facebook or twitter. Don't give 2 ****s about them for social aspects either.
My wife however has started her own business and it is amazing the business she has gained from Facebook alone. She has a business Facebook page and used it to show off her product and spread the word. She also encourages her friends to share the page which brings it to the attention of none friends, who share it and bring it to the of..........
Positives and negatives hey!

You have a thing for flat-chested women?
1) She got death threats after jokingly calling her friend a "cracker" which actually brought her to tears (remember at the time we were in Japan and they were in Canada, so not particularly theatening IMO). When another friend defended her, the same guy threatened her as well.
2) When she'd decided that we were over, everyone (including me I think) found out because she changed her relationship status to "It's Complicated". To her it seemed doing that made more sense than trying to work it out.
