No gas supply in my village so it's kinda essential. Can't wait! Dunno how previous occupants kept warm with just these overnight storage heaters.

Went to try out Killzones MP (which wasn't that good tbh) & had to download the patch but i didn't have the 1 Gb of space so had to decide which of my precious downloaded games I'd have to delete, which was a pain in the Richard Arris!!!!

The crap thing about TVs on the walls is that it is so impractical. Looking at FSW's "before" photo you can see how many wires need to get to the thing, if you went the route of chasing wires through walls or making dummy surrounds you would be forever messing about with it.
Much prefer the "after" pic!

Fancied going through the first Modern Warefare for some reason. Looked on Steam, ?20. Fair enough, Modern Warefare 2 I never played and that was just before the series went to absolute ****, right? ah, ?20...
Am I missing something here? still nearly full ****ing price (in terms of pc gaming anyway) and it came out in ****ing 2007!
Edit:
Oh, and I just used Ultraviolet for the first time to redeem a film...
OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can't even watch the film I bought with a different media player, and I can only watch when I'm online????
FU!!!!!!!!
How can they complain about pirating when this is the legit alternative?Last edited by Kit; 19-10-2013, 15:04.

Ultraviolet is horrendous. Ooh, cool, a digital copy too? Oh, Ultraviolet. May as well be a kick in my pants. It's total pox and I can't possibly see how it is becoming more and more common except if they're throwing money at the film companies. Fast Five came with a digital copy. 6 came with Ultraviolet. Pox.

Had a look over at Amazon. It's ?15 for the first Modern Warefare. Thinking of games I recall coming out around that period; Orange Box (I think), Bioshock? Left 4 Dead? Crysis maybe?
It's not rare or anything. There's no excuse.

I also noticed they only have SD versions? so the pirates not only have superior quality HD films, but they don't have to be online to view them.

my before and after
before:
after
I think it looks much better on the wall where it is and the bracket can move the television around the room if needed but the only trailing cable I have is the usb extension which saves me moving the television.
only reason I got it plonked on the wall was that my children were getting too close to the television for a long time and we kept on moving them as per the before photo, so now they cant get anywhere near it, the fireplace guard is there to slop my clumsy boy hurting himself, but he decided one day to pull it over on himself which gave him a hash mark on his forehead
there was a before before but I cant find the photo of my Panasonic hdcrt which I sold for ?20 - cost me ?1600 back in 2003- weighed around 30 stone though when we were moving it
all the av equipment is in the hifi cabinet with only one hole near the skirting board behind it - I stuck a brush plate on it to make it look decent rather than a hole
