So I'm taking Introduction to Cryptography as one of my courses this semester, and I'm actually surprised at how straightforward the maths involved is. But using a f-king massive keyspace is the main thing, that and rounds of encryption.

Well the maths may be simple to you matheletes Kryss, but for some reason mathematicians can't be sure what the chances of collisions are, thus we only suspect that the encryption technique is secure. One day some of the algorithms might be blown wide open by a mathematical wormhole in the sums!

Not impossible, just not very likely right now. I have a text on post-quantum cryptography downloaded that I'm wanting to read soon.
