This could arguably be an irk, but at some point one of the Xbox 360 updates seemed to have stopped recognising Netflix as 'watching a video'. So, if you have your system configured so as not to play notifications when you're watching something, that no longer suppresses them when you're in Netflix.

However, given my girlfriend and her sister have a habit of always picking out horror films, I've actually found the comedy timing of some of these have really helped take the edge off some of the hideous scares. Just last night we were watching something, and near the end, after all of the harrowing death and gore, just as the main character thinks she can make a break for it, she thinks she's got away, but then her eyes widen, the tense music picks back up again aaaaaand... "QualityChimp has come online".



I have been imagining the same thing happening with the bathroom scene from The Shining and I can't stop chuckling to myself.

Well I got the rest of my test results trying to ascertain what this pain in my side is and they all came back clear. So that means no real nasty underlying condition - no lung cancer or any of that sort of thing. So that's pretty awesome. Means in all likelihood that it is simply muscular, which is great news. I'll happily take that over something serious.
