Loving how steadfast she is in her convictions
What makes me laugh is the people are complaining as though they're being taken for a ride regarding the numbers. Whether it's higher or lower is irrelevant because scanning the card into the computer confirms if you've won or not, and there'll only be X amount of winning cards in circulation.
Now, if they had to actually solve a maths problem or do some other task to win then I can sort of understand it if they felt they'd been cheated(e.g. if a GCSE maths exam question that asked you to prove that x = 7 but it was a typo and was meant to read x = 5 you'd have a problem, but this isn't even like that) but they're literally just scraping some foil stuff off a printed number.
The luck aspect hasn't changed one iota, nor the odds of winning.
Wallies.
Kudos to Camelot for withdrawing the game, though. The fewer nice old ladies being harassed over the nuances of the Celsius scale the better.

UPDATE: Consumer watchdog Which? has told Eurogamer that it believes customers will have to return the PlayStation Vita…
Know I would be saying f-you Zavvi, surely they don't have a leg to stand on, wonder how many they sent out. And how many people got sacked over it.
This comment on Eurogamer made me chuckle
I'm waiting for some cheeky recipient to write to Zavvi with a final demand that they fill their contractual obligation and also send out the single copy of Tearaway originally ordered, otherwise 'all legal options will be explored'

From the Citizen's Advice website quote, it seems to me the Vitas aren't unsolicited.
The customers ordered the game and got the game with the Vita by accident. An unsolicited Vita would be one sent to the customer(who didn't order it) on purpose with the intention of demanding money from the recipient, like those dodgy coin collection companies who let you 'view this amazing collection in your own home' and then get you to pay for it later. In the latter case it would be an unconditional gift.
I'm not condoning their heavy-handedness but that's how I understand it.

Personally I'd send it back. Just because a company has made a mistake it doesn't mean that it's "fair game" to keep an expensive item that you didn't pay for.
It's like saying that if I bought a game on here for ?20, but accidentally typed ?200 when sending the bank transfer, the other person should be entitled to keep the extra ?180 if they felt like it because I'd made the mistake.

If you wouldn't return it then you really wouldn't have any right to complain - ever - about getting screwed over by anything yourself. I've never had poor service from Zavvi and their prices are usually pretty great, so I'd send it back and would keep buying stuff from them in the future. Would be nice from them to give some vouchers for the honest people though like Kryss said, after all it's extra work to post them back.
