After the whole Ghostbusters phase and with me getting slowly older my Mum reached a point where she regretted throwing out all my old toys after each phase ended. The next was roughly my last franchise fad which was, as it was then, Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles. Still to this day, stored safely in the loft of my parents house after lesson was learnt is these:

But if I had a consistant type of toy I loved it was toy cars. Two types typically, the first was Matchbox cars, Hot Wheels designs were often too daft or garish for my liking so I only had a couple but Matchbox's always fit well and played well into any playtime as so many were identifiable for what you imagined them as.

The other was Micro Machines, loved these. Could have done with a few more variants but loved the look and idea, even the ones with a super tiny one inside

Thankfully, all my toy cars are still in the loft too. Any future kids can play with them too as they're not quite as common a toy these days but still rock.
Then there's the toys I didn't own...
