Turns out today was just a mistake. When they checked who wanted to go we weren't at our desks so only two guys went, the rest were in meetings.

Pizza Thursdays has become a thing here so at least I know the day, and from now on I'll just let them know in the morning that I definitely want to go.

Some could even have been damaging on occasion. One out today. Isn't bad but I didn't say the things attributed to me. Vague approximations around things I said.

How hard is it for journalists to record what people actually say?

I've only been quoted twice (once for bullbar safety testing and another for trail running) and they quoted me word for word both times. I was surprised (especially on the bullbar thing).
