Yes 40 is nothing to be worried about, been there done that. Becoming a Grandad at 42 was more of a thing for me.
Can't change your age so no point worrying about it.

I did have a mini crisis at 30. I realised I'm probably too old to have so many games. Panicked about my lost youth.

I feel better than I ever have at 33. I'm stronger than ever and weigh a health amount.
I'll never be well though. I can barely get through a day without needing a nap but I make do.

They do suffer. It's a known vbulletin "feature" in v4 - as thread size increases, it puts a strain on the server and if it doesn't have enough resources, they start going slow, but it's gradual. It then starts falling over occasionally in busy long threads and their admin wonder why and they spend ages on the vbulletin support forum trying to get .ini tweaks before eventually ending up in the bug thread and later on posting to say they have upgraded server and all is fine.

It would probably be ok to leave them much longer now that I upgrade to the bigger / faster server at the end of 2013, but why risk the possible corruption / damage to the database... Also, the server is sentient - it seems to know when I'm away for a few days and always timed its mischief on the first day I was away
