Behold the KING of Creme Eggs!

It's an irk and a smile, but I have been fully bitten by the Lego bug after building the AT-AT at Christmas. Searched for some other nice vehicles to build, only to find most of the ones I would like are in OOP sets that go for 20-30,000 yen in the aftermarket.
A little further investigation and I discover there's a whole network of traders dealing purely in Lego bricks and websits with instructions and parts lists for everything under the sun (that is the smile part). I set out to order the parts to build an AT-ST. Fast forward five days and I'm now waiting on around fifteen packages from all over the world so I can build various elements of various sets that would cost a fortune to buy sealed. I got ridiculously carried away and probably ended up spending 20-30,000 yen anyway (this is the irk part). At least I will be building a variety of things, not just one single set at the same price. Honestly though, what is wrong with me.Last edited by Darwock; 13-01-2015, 04:48.

Absolutely nothing, mate. Half the fun of being an adult is buying things you couldn't when you were younger
I still have my heart set on a Thunderbird 2 model kit that I used to stare at for ages every time we went Toys R Us(I never had enough money for it whenever Eid came around).
In fact, I've found it online for a measly Y4000. Might give in to temptation but at least with Lego you know exactly what you're getting in terms of quality.
Mods: Please move Darwock's post to the smile thread by order of (Lego) Her Majesty The Queen.Last edited by randombs; 13-01-2015, 06:16.
