Can't you get those third party magnifier lenses for Kinect 2 like you could the original Kinect for people who didn't have loads of room?

I had one of those for the original kinect but I found it didn't work very well, it'd not recognise my limbs...

Isn't kinect 2 supposed to require less room?

Well, I'm 6foot tall and I'm standing 6foot from the unit and I can say, it's not enough. No idea what the original kinect could handle.

I remember on the PS2 I had the personal trainer game which came with a magnifying lens which worked quite well. Might be worth trying one of them for the new kinect I suppose.

Now you've got me worried. Being feeling quite uncomfortable in my body for a while now. Very difficult to work out here in Taiwan because it's so frigging hot all the time, and very difficult to eat well because all the food here is crap and nobody has an oven so you can't really cook at home. I do walk about a mile a day just getting to and from work, but that doesn't get my heart rate up. I used to run several miles a day in the UK, but it's so crowded here there's nowhere to run. Been irking me for ages and I'm not sure what to do.

Don't worry, what's happening with me is the result of years of neglect. I stopped caring about my physical wellbeing around six years ago and it's just catching up with me. I'm very lucky that I'm not actually fat as such, just terribly out of shape. Doing a CS degree didn't help either, with all of the long hours sitting around and eating opportunistically. You needn't worry about your health too much, I've never done the sort of exercise you used to! Are there any parks that you could train in over there?

I now have visions of a smaller Bernard Black on a running machine in his over coat and it's amusing me greatly.

Why didn't I think of this before? I could drink myself into ignoring reality instead.

Mega rant - Microsoft:

Every time I try to play a game that has Games for Windows Live it tells me that the service is down. Now, it's lying to me; the service is not down, Microsoft's software has ****ed up, requiring that you uninstall Game for Windows Marketplace and reinstall, after every reboot. It has had this problem FOR ****ING YEARS. This time it lost everything and asked me if I wanted to create a new gamertag to associate with my Windows Live ID. For ****s and giggles I said yes:

OK, this is going to open a browser window and ask you to enter your Live ID details and choose a gamertag ok?

I click ok, it opens a browser window with no content.

I kill the browser and uninstall anything and everything that has anything at all to to with Windows Live.

Microsoft you ****ing useless bunch of twats. Somewhere there are some execs wondering why Games For Windows failed. It failed because it failed. It doesn't ****ing work.

No Dark Souls on PC for me then.

completed Rogue Squadron compilation from factor five with and an all new wii Rogue Squadron game. both will never see the light of day despite being finished and ready for launch, as factor five are no more and disney now own starwars.

Being told that I'm 200 odd quid in debt with our electric supplier.. How the feck can that be fair. Surely at the first sign of it looking like we're not paying enough they should get in touch. FFS.

That is a lot to be out over the summer months yes.

Friend of mine has just had monthly water direct debit put up from ?77 to ?110 a month. Just the three of them in a two bathroom house with no swimming pool etc.

Ring them up with a meter reading - ?244 down to ?40. Tosspots. I'm to blame for not keeping up with submitting regular meter readings, but still..

Check on money super market, seems that best option for me is to switch at a saving of ?400 per year. I'll have some of that thanks.
