It's not about sales forum, I just wanted to talk about games here, nothing more. Yes I made another account, I just wanted to do what I used to enjoy. All I've done is buy something and make posts about games.

Doesnt explain why you initially created an alternate account with a different name and entered into another trade, without being honest about who you were before the trade went ahead.Did you not think the buyer had the right to know considering your history? Your actions as that alternate account are a direct contradiction to your words here.

Anyway. It's done now, and you are back. The block button is there for a reason, so I can sort myself out. If by some miracle you are allowed to trade again, people can make up their own minds about whether to deal with you or not.

I nearly bought a PSP from 90s Kid. However the whole thing felt wrong, something didn't feel legit. I said this to my wife so I hesitated.

IMO this changes things further. More than one account to trade with.

To clarify. It felt wrong because it was all done via PM. Nothing in any sales thread was replied to. Here was a total stanger with no post or background offering me a PSP.

First up, sorry to hear you’ve been through the mill lately. I’ve no doubt that it’s been incredibly difficult and painful, and I’m sure that your actions that hurt others and lead to this point weren’t taken lightly. I’ve been close enough to another member who’s been in a similar position in the past to have seen the other side of their story, and I have more sympathy for your position than you might think.

If I’m understanding the timelines and implications of some of the above posts correctly though, I think it’s pretty poor form to have a) been setting up alts and then b) deceptively trading through them. Your first post here paints a picture of someone desperately missing the community, whereas these actions would instead suggest someone whose dependancy is on trade access, that in their mind takes priority over the rules of the forum, or transparency to the members within. That Jason saw a trade through regardless is a credit to him, and whilst I’m also a firm believer in redemption, I find it very hard to take an apology at face value given the timing and the circumstances. I’m glad that you’re doing better personally and that you’re making up what is owed to those you wronged, but I’m hoping you can see as well that your more recent actions were at fault as well as the actions that lead to your ban.

Update at my end:

Shozuki has come good on the deal from last year. He sent me a payment this morning which squares things up.

I've been screwed out of money on this forum in the past (this was a few years ago by Robert Fielding - he still owes me money).

The last thing I expected was to hear back from Shozuki, let alone having him reimburse the losses caused by his circumstances last year.

• only coming clean when caught out.

past behaviour has to be taken into account particularly flipping stuff on ebay for double then goading the seller.

Having read through this I find Fuse has summed up my thoughts quite well. I'll just add that, from experience, depression is a weird random mofo that we dont realise is really in our control. It can spiral downwards quickly and make you do things outta the ordinary. I dont want to justify your past actions and certainly your recent history unfortunately casts further doubt as to your sincerity.

However at least its out in the open and people can make their own minds up if they want to trade with you in the future.
