I got the BQ Aquaris Ubuntu Edition when it came out. It's awful. So I got an Xperia z3. On holiday I tried using its waterproof features. Bottom lone is it wasn't waterproof so I had to revert to the Ubuntu until they got me a replacement z3.

Why is the Ubuntu awful?

No map app, no email app, 3rd party email app (there is only 1) only does pop3 and Gmail. Calendar and contacts are local to device only. Supplied keyboard software is terrible and cannot be replaced, hangs and reboots regularly, I could go on...

I knew it wouldn't be ready for prime time and only got it for development purposes.

My mate showing me his Apple watch today, what a load of ****e. The best reason he could give for buying it? It's annoying having to go in to your pocket to get your phone. Cue me taking one second to do just that, how inconvenient.

I was looking at the Moto 360 with the metal strap, it's down to $250 right now. I shall not be buying, even though my reasons ( i. it's cool, ii. i want one) are perfectly valid, I wouldn't spend that on a normal watch, nevermind one I had to recharge every day.

I had a curry last night and the whole room was lifting this morning. My guts seem to be ottering themselves inside out. I'm about to go to get a haircut. It's going to be touch and go whether or not I can hold in these chocolate eruptions for long enough. I fear the level of concentration and pressure involved in battening down the hatches will cause such internal distress that the hairdresser is going to cop a faceful of pARp regardless.

I GOT THE BLOODY JOB!!

Start 1st August. Pay rise, car, Monday - Friday. No bank holidays. Christmas off. Decent pension. Private health care.
