This has been shared on my Facebook feed quite a few times, don't know what to make of it really. Why would people in need be refusing the help of the authorities?
There was no sound for me so I couldn't get an idea of what they were saying. I'd be intrigued to know.

They're giving them supplies and trying to take them to refugee camps in Hungary. They don't want that, they want to go to Germany, and they'd rather throw the supplies away and lie down on the tracks instead. Seems kind of like a dick move to me.

There is a version with sound available on YT too. I have no sympathy for people who act in that way. I understand that they don't want to be there & haven't got what they wanted & that's probably why their refusing help (acting like big kids imo), but then why didn't they go to their muslim brothers in countries not affected by war, which would have been a less dangerous option. In fact, those countries should have been the first ones to offer their 'brothers' help.
The one sided news reports don't help either.

I know this is gonna stir up a hornets nest debate but well that's just how I feel on the situation

Actually the question of Syrian refugees crossing Europe to reach large western countries instead of banging on the door of Muslim neighbours in the region is an interesting one.
Still doesn't make me feel any better about poor Aylan and his brother. Properly shed tears over him this week. Poor little babies....

It's a highly correct question to be asked.

If I was a Syrian refugee I wouldn't risk all that to go to one of those neighbouring Muslim countries.

As for wanting to go to Germany, I'll reserve judgement as to their reasons. Everyone's on edge and these stories keep getting flipped around like plot twists. They're not picking holiday destinations from a catalogue. Seemed like some guys were forcing everyone to refuse the help.

I found this which says they were going on hunger strike because they didn't want to go to a camp:

Hundreds refuse to leave train at Bicske station, with many declining food and water and vowing to go on hunger strike if they are not taken to Germany

I'd rather live in Germany than here! It's the best of the european countries

Many of them aren't Muslim, for starters.

Indeed but a large portion of those countries have taken no one.

Mixed emotions about the whole thing. The dead kid on the beach was gut wrenching, but why were the genuine refugees leaving the safe haven of Turkey, a UN country, risking the lives of their families just to reach Germany?

Perhaps, just like we are, they're receiving conflicting news about what's going on. Not to mention, they'll all be in extreme emotional states right now.

Heck, our own news sources are complaining about immigrants one week and then wringing their hands over Aylan the next.

                            Source?

Turkey have taken a million from Syria since the crisis began. The UK has taken 5000

People I know that live in places like Saudi have said to me they are taking in none. Same with UAE and a few others.

Yep and they are even bigger ***** than we are.

Just because they aren't it doesn't give us an excuse not to help.
