An actor leads you from one set to another by staying in character and giving you a story to link them all.
      Yep, loathsome.

What you got against LARP man?

I don't think I could ever cosplay... I used be really uncomfortable with the idea of dressing up as someone when I'm not even the right skin tone but I'm over that. Now I think I'd be waaaay too anal about the details of the costume. I'd love to dress up as White Knight Garo or even Gabranth but yeah too much effort and I won't do it unless it looks perfect.

Sorry to hear man. I hope everything works out sooner rather than later. Not been the greatest here either and let a lot out here last week :/

            Scummy sellers in general.

Me and the wifey were really interested in a house to buy that needed a little tlc and a few minor jobs doing, literally painting and decorating. Had a ?700 survey done and it only turns out that half the house is subsiding and will probably need ?20k in building underpinning work.

What annoys me is that the sellers knew beforehand about this, they knew it would put people off but they didn’t bother to disclose it to us and it’s ended up costing ?700 for a survey we would never of had done if they’d have been honest.

            Back to rightmove it is…

In Scotland the house seller has to produce a home report that has everything in it and it only lasts a few months so when it runs out the seller has to pay to get it done again

Negates the need for multiple surveys from buyers

This sort of thing should be UK wide, serious ongoing problems would be in that first report and buyers would at least know what they're getting into before they start paying out.

I'm pretty much screwed tbh. They've tested me for everything and can't find anything abnormal. Because of my Crohns and lack of a large bowel, I just don't absorb enough nutrients.

Yeah when I bought this house 8 years ago we went for a couple of ex council homes and the owner's said they must have had over 20 reports done by potential buyers so I guess it was from that where they changed the law

You also can't be guzzumped in Scotland either, missives must be completed in two weeks which is a legally binding contract to sell/buy so no-one can come in at the eleventh hour and take the house from you without being sued

Two things which are great for purchasing up here

Trying to buy my first house has been a real eye opener.

Sellers, Estate Agents, Solicitors, Mortgage Brokers... There seems to be this continuing line of people bull ****ting to your face, charging you money, contradictory advise and general messing around.

Every house I lived in as a child had the sofa backed up against the wall, I thought that was just the norm.

Sofas in the middle of the room is for Nintendo Wii adverts.

I've booked an appointment at the Apple Store tomorrow because my 5s is playing up, probably because I drop it fairly often.

The earphone socket does things like randomly pause music, the battery is a bit battered, and recently the power button has started to just press itself in and give me the 'slide to power off' message. That's not the irk, though.

It's jailbroken on 8.4 and I'm gonna have to erase it. Unfortunately, one of the side-effects of jailbreaking is losing the ability to do a full erase so I've no choice but to restore it to iOS 9(and they'll probably want to do that anyway).

So I'll be stuck on iOS 9 whether they decide to repair the phone or just give it back and say tough tiddly. That's the irk. I foresaw this a little while back and tried booking an appointment when 8.4 was still out but the free slots disappear so quickly it's unbelievable(three went while I was trying to click them, ffs)

One possibility is to claim on Apple Care and pay 10,000Y(55 quid) for a replacement which will probably be on an older iOS version.

Seeing as I don't want to upgrade, I might just do that. I'd love to just drop it on the floor during my appointment!

No problem. I gave them a call and told them to cancel the whole thing because it's not your thing, okay?

I think for people who like the movies, it's a fantastic experience and dressing up is part of it. If you get involved you'll get more from it.

                                Grandma:
You know, when I was nineteen, Grandpa took me on a roller coaster.

                                Gil:
                                Oh?

                                Grandma:
Up, down, up, down. Oh, what a ride!

                                Gil:
                                What a great story.

                                Grandma:
I always wanted to go again. You know, it was just so interesting to me that a ride could make me so frightened, so scared, so sick, so excited, and so thrilled all together! Some didn't like it. They went on the merry-go-round. That just goes around. Nothing. I like the roller coaster. You get more out of it.
