Totally want a light in our loo!!!
I have a sore throat every evening from wearing a mask all day, it dries your throat out.
Managed to get a decent shop from Tescos extra on my lunch break, social distancing outside in a queue I finally managed to get some decent toilet roll, was sensible and got the 9 pack rather than 16 as we still have a couple of cheap and nasty rolls at home. Both this one and my local are getting people to wipe down their baskets at entry. Overall a pleasant experience, still no pasta and only the odd veg but it’s slowly getting better to shop
We have some of the vital masks at work now but the dentists have managed to advise on the phone today as recommended so lucky only had to cope with a couple of members of staff and 1-2 delivery men and 1 patient picking up a prescription as their pharmacy won’t let us send it via email.
Luckily 98% of patients are understanding or happy we are cancelling. The rest are unhelpful, stupid or total nightmares

I’m really struggling to focus on any work due to all this. I’m used to working from home too but having the kids and my wife and the general worry and stress is really affecting my focus. It’s been about 15 years since I’ve had anything resembling a traditional boss but I could really do with one right now. Yes, that leads into many jokes...

These updates from the Tories each day increasingly feel like plugging a dam that's going to drown them in a months time. Far too much focus on selective support, support that takes a long time to arrive, and planning to claw money back once restrictions end. They seem to think an altered form of austerity is going to fix the effects of coronavirus on society.

About a month before all of this we started fostering so we've got a traumatised 6 year old with us. None of us have left the house for a week now. She's been amazing though. She's such a great kid and it's actually been really good fun having some proper quality time with her.
My wife can go out again tomorrow but me and the kid have another week left. Luckily we've got a garden for her to run around in.
I work in mental health so I've got to go back to work once I'm allowed out. I'm just glad I've got a job to go back to as my wife and most of her colleagues got made redundant yesterday.
