World moved on. iPhones and Android phones upped their email and enterprise games, (the only reason that Blackberries ever stood out in the first place), never mind their hardware and software. BlackBerry-types didn't, hence why they're dead and buried.Last edited by Nu-Eclipse; 17-04-2023, 05:19.

We both just bought new phones, we had them for 3.5/4 years my wife's had screen cracks from multiple drops (if you have read my comments about how she treats our vacuums it's incredible her Nokia 8.1 lasted so long) and my battery on the Motorola G8 Plus was starting to degrade.
She went for a Samsung A34 which is full of bloat (I did warn her) whilst my Motorola G73 isn't.

It doesn't look like a bad effort, it's just that price - it's way outside how much I'd be prepared to spend on a phone, even a folding one. The tablet looks fairly decent too. I'm almost tempted to pre-order one. I like that it includes the dock with the built-in speaker/charger.
£600 though, even though I do use my Amazon Fire 10 quite a lot, is the price premium really worth it? Not sure.

Also, the entry-level 9th-Gen Wi-Fi only 64GB Apple iPad (with Apple silicon that easily outperforms Google Tensor G2) is currently £369 so Google re-entering a tablet space that they already failed in years ago is a really tough sell IMO. I feel like they would've been better off making the Tensor Chromebook that they were originally going to instead and adding a touchscreen to it to make it a 2-in-1 convertible.Last edited by Nu-Eclipse; 10-05-2023, 21:09.

If you're already in the Apple ecosystem maybe. I've had an iPad, I really didn't like using it. I don't think that's a bad price, given Apple's usual form mind.
Maybe Google should have made the doc an optional extra, it'd be price parity then.
It looks like Google has tweaked Android with Android L, so there's now multitask window docking for example. I'd like to see a more in-depth review first with that price tag though.
