Im shocked, shocked! That was sarcasm, im not shocked. Driving through town yesterday not a single person with masks on, pubs were rammed like nothings ever happened and all is normal, english guys back to fighting in said pubs causing 4 police cars to be there as well.

I actually miss the full lockdown a lot of the time, kept the nob heads off the streets at least, sigh.

WHO are attempting to rebrand COVID variants using the Greek alphabet to avoid the stigma of them being referred to by the name of the nation of identification. It'll fail of course, the media will still refer to them as things like the India variant etc but WHO is convinced that people will feel more at easy by variant terms like:
