Started going fishing again last week and it’s hooked me again(Pun intended)! There’s something just so relaxing about it and I’ve been quite lucky in the fact that the two times I’ve been, I’ve bagged up on silvers and the odd beefy Perch. The only downside is both trips I’ve lost what would have been a personal best Chub - probably around the 6lb mark each time. Still, I have a good 8 months left before the rivers close for the season.
Just being out in nature without seeing anyone all day and the sounds of nature is such a calming experience.

Always been fascinated by fishing, often chat to the fishermen as I pass them walking by with my doggies on Hayling Island. A lot of them share they aren't out there to catch anything really - that's a bonus - But they just love doing it and it's their thing - a calming experience as you rightly say. I totally respect and love that. I've recently got back into my running for that same feeling.
Where are you fishing dude? :-)
Also!! question - do you catch and release or catch and eat? I don't eat fish really much, but love red meat - however recently been more tempted by fish... and was wondering if fishing my own fish (as i live by the sea) was actually a good, healthy thing to do? I'm totally ignorant in this area ha! :-D

Been listening to the new Blur album and it's off the charts.
It's so melancholic but uplifting and as an approaching 40 year old guy who purchased Blur's first album almost 30 years ago on cassette tape, it hits in all the right places. It lyrically brilliant, musically beautiful and my god, it's an album that I've needed for a few years now.
Wools rating: 5/5, and there's not many albums I can say that about over the past 5 years.
