This is quite funny as the people hes trying to court by attacking "woke" culture would more than likely be the ones telling his parents to go back to their own country and shoving dog **** through their letterbox. It really is worrying that they seem so obsessed with gender issues and are pretty much ignoring everything else.

They're so massively disconnected from reality at this point.

they need to get a handle on the cost of living crisis, they are pretty much ignoring the cost of energy and petrol. saying they will reverse a tax that's didn't need to happen puts a lot of people back where they where a few months back but now facing 500-600 energy bills.
If people cant pay on mass what happens? under usual circumstances the gas company would record a non payment this is reported to the 3 big credit agency's and starts to tank peoples credit rating. If they continue to not be able to pay at the 6 month mark they get taken to court and get a county court judgement against them to pay back the money owed, it's pretty cut and dry as you agreed to pay for their services and you haven't. this then destroys your credit rating and means you cant get any type of credit for 6 years until the CCJ is removed from your credit file.
This is the reality millions are facing as if your on minimum wage you cant afford half your take-home pay to go on energy alone so your going to get people either running up massive credit cards and overdrafts to pay or people joining the cancel your Direct debit movement and refusing to pay.
Having a zombie goverment until September not able to do anything and fully focused on the leadership couldn't come at a worse time, No doubt whoever dose get into office will be in for a rude awakening as they will see civil disobedience on a scale not seen in the UK since the poll-tax riots.

^ I may be wrong but I think it's illegal for companies to cut water supplies to a person's home (?), but they can of course do that with other utilities. I think this is the reason why people historically have been quite ready just to **** off water bills. Ready to admit I may be talking hot air, here...

You only have to look at France and see how things could be massively different, if anything this is showing how privatisation is a massive failure and unregulated energy is not the way to go. we're like a warning for the rest of the world on how not to run a country at this moment in time.Last edited by Lebowski; 01-08-2022, 14:23.

Eliminated leadership candidate endorses foreign secretary as final two answer questions from members
Just at the critical moment Mordaunt backs Truss. Literally opposite campaigns and flagged off by Truss' camp so there has to have been a sweet offer made to Mordaunt to secure what is surely the final killer strike on Sunak's campaign
