Sunak calls Truss out on her claim that her tax cuts can help avoid the incoming recession
Sunak's/the Tory way of trying to cut their way out of a rescission never works and just shrinks the economy more, we have actual physical evidence of this in that we had 10 years of Tory austerity with no actual reduction in our deficit or improvement in the economy.

Richy Rish boasting to the blue rinse brigade in Tunbridge Wells that he changed Treasury ‘formulas’ so that money was diverted from deprived urban areas to the already-affluent Tory shires. Top class levelling up from the richest politician in living memory.

Lebowski We also have the evidence of other countries, and the IMF itself essentially denounced it. It’s suicidal and does nothing bar redistribute upwards.

AA chief reveals his microwave tip to foil tech-savvy car thieves | Motoring | The Guardian
The President of the AA has said that after his wife's Lexus was stolen he has taken to securing the car by placing the car key inside a faraday pouch, inside a metal box, inside a microwave at the back of the house.

Sounds like a great idea! Let's hope no-one plasters it all over the news sites advertising where it's hidden!

Video shows candidate telling Tories in Tunbridge Wells he started making sure ‘areas like this are getting the funding they deserved’

Rishi Sunak has admitted taking money from deprived urban areas in order to give it to other parts of the country.

An analysis by the Guardian in February found that, under Boris Johnson’s “levelling up” agenda, some of the wealthiest parts of England, including areas represented by government ministers, were allocated 10 times more money per capita than the poorest.
finally we've found out what leveling up is, you take money from deprived areas, and funnel it into areas that don't need it as bribes for votes, this ties in with their strategy of under-funding Labour Councils too. So leveling up it would seem is a pun from Jhonson and co and relates more to leveling up their support by rewarding safe seats.

His own party is distancing themselves from this idiot too this quote from The Foreign Office minister Zac Goldsmith should be put on a plaque for Sunak

“This is one of the weirdest – and dumbest – things I’ve ever heard from a politician.”

That is unreal. He literally stands there and proudly boasts that they've stopped funnelling money into 'deprived inner city areas' and that they're sending it to Tunbridge Wells instead.

What a ****ing arsehole.

“We inherited a bunch of formulas from Labour that shoved all the funding into deprived urban areas and that needed to be undone. I started the work of undoing that.”

Something here doesn't add up. Labour hasn't been in power for 12 years. He's not started work undoing that, the Tories did 12 years ago. He's just continued it surely.

Sunaker. It’s almost like he’s trying to lose.

What a choice. Richy Rish or Thick Lizzy, who wants us all to level up by LEVELLING OUR WAGES THE HELL DOWN, PEASANTS, and surrendering all our rights.

Honestly if Mick Lynch was put forward as the labour leader I'd vote for him in a heartbeat.

After all the absolute nonsense going on he takes no prisoners and talks nothing but factual sense on every front.

That's a bastard trick, Beeb has it as well;
Allies of the former chancellor say he changed outdated rules to reflect need in rural areas.

In other news Starmer's been naughty too, in hindsight I'm sure he would think he should have behaved better;
The Labour leader failed to register eight interests on time, the standards commissioner finds.

Even Starmer’s misdemeanours are dull and half-arsed.

The worst bit about Sunak's news is that the media and Tories will chalk it up directly to him, like he worked entirely autonomously whilst in the cabinet rather than as one member of a corrupt Government that will continue doing exactly what he just admitted to
