I like the speakers in the imax. So much better sound. Picture quality doesn't mattered as much I think as long as it's in focus. Several times I've had to leave a cineworld and get a refund because it was out of focus, even after they tried to adjust it...

When they’ve finished you’re finally allowed to enjoy the movie on average sized, mediocre quality screens with what is either low budget audio equipment or poorly set up audio equipment, or both. And you get to pay £20 for this privilege.

Seriously? What a sack of crap that cinema must be. I've only ever experienced an issue once in my life and that was in the later half of the 90s at the Liverpool Odeon when it was still on London Road. Man that was a classic cinema. Screen 1 was epic for the time.
Anyway, I was watching the West craven movie Wish Master (or whatever it was called. The one with the devil genie). The movie started with a massive farting feedback from the speakers but they soon fixed it and gave us all a free coupon for any movie.Last edited by Yakumo; 23-08-2022, 09:15.

The CEO of Scottish Power has said that energy prices need to be frozen now.
He has submitted the proposal to the Tories under which the cost would be £100bn for a freeze lasting two years. The cost of the freeze would then be reclaimed via bills over a period of twenty years or more. The main reason it's seen as notable is because now that the companies themselves are pushing for action the Tories are listening more.

Politicians have realised that the angry, ignorant people basically run things now. Mainly because they all talk to each other on Facebook and the rest of us don't want to engage with them.
