I like the speakers in the imax. So much better sound. Picture quality doesn't mattered as much I think as long as it's in focus. Several times I've had to leave a cineworld and get a refund because it was out of focus, even after they tried to adjust it...

Seriously? What a sack of crap that cinema must be. I've only ever experienced an issue once in my life and that was in the later half of the 90s at the Liverpool Odeon when it was still on London Road. Man that was a classic cinema. Screen 1 was epic for the time.
Anyway, I was watching the West craven movie Wish Master (or whatever it was called. The one with the devil genie). The movie started with a massive farting feedback from the speakers but they soon fixed it and gave us all a free coupon for any movie.Last edited by Yakumo; 23-08-2022, 09:15.Comment

Cinemas just need to upgrade their screens to Dolby Digital set ups. The experience would then essentially be standardised bar the awful ratio that ruins the home release.Comment
