4-5h a night will serve you well mate... congratulations from me. I've got 3 girls now (eldest just turned 8 last week, youngest is 3) and I think the most sleep I get is 6 hours if I'm lucky. I always do the early mornings and the wife gets up to them in the night if I'm late to bed... That works for us.
Back to heating. We've also got Hive across 3 floors in a new build here, two zones though (bottom floor and top two combined). It's good as you can monitor how often the heating gets triggered. We're averaging it coming on 1.5-2hrs a night set at 18 degrees but like I said the girls room at the top of the house is colder. I've just bled one of the radiators in their room this morning as we noticed it was cold at the top last night so hoping that helps. I might pop to B&Q later and get the foil you can put on the outer walls to reflect heat back in. Not sure how good that is but it's a cheap enough install to try it out.
-9 real feel here overnight (Taunton, Somerset).
