I think if we wanted things to reverse course, we needed to go to Westminster with pitchforks and baseball bats; but we didn't. Not blaming you or anyone else here because I didn't go either. We're at a level where I do wonder if a violent altercation, in the manner of the poll tax riots, is around the corner.
I think the old heads-on-spikes option has been temporarily been headed off, unfortunately. People seem happy to only have around £2500 to pay - notwithstanding the many thousands who literally cannot. Had it gone to the planned 3500+ with predictions of 5/6k+ in January, then that would've been likely.

Why? They have literally thrown £140b down the drain to companies that have already factually stated it won’t affect them or future investment whatsoever having a windfall tax placed on them. The now prime minister has factually lied on public tv stating a windall tax isn’t possible for this reason.

Mogg making sure fracking is pushed through despite absolutely no one waning it, so his energy firm gets the contract.

Russian money being absolutely rife right through the whole Tory party.

We can go on and on with this rubbish. When is enough corruption enough for action?

^ Why would the British public be moved by a PM lying or mass wastage of public funds? We're immured to, indeed fully expectant of it. I agree with you and share your outrage 100%. But I also think that mass revolt is unlikely to happen. Why? No idea. Maybe because of the cowering British mentality that the 'higher-ups' must have a plan.

Know what the real sad thing is, your absolutely right, no one really gives a s**t. If you took away and banned football overnight though there would be riots, but a corrupt government thats turned into an oligarchy, their fundamental rights disappearing & a completely needless recession? Nope that doesn’t do it for them.

                This is particularly worrying.

They need to start internationally recognising things like drones etc in the same light as an invading force or incursion in order to make it a less appealing option. We're past enemy states having to send people in to do their dirty work and if drones are being used to attack infrastructure it's an act of war. The willingness to play softball with Russia is long tired.

A drone is still in breach of airspace in the same way a jet is. It's just that a drone is either too small and fast to do anything about, or it's a full wingman drone that's invisible to radar or too high.
Generally they don't carry markings and it's hard to find where it came from. A small drone could be outfitted with C4, crash into an oil rig and no one would know where the hell it came from.
                      They are a real pain.

But that could give us a plan if 'someone' was to send one into Russia...

More energy company's go bust and the providers don't get paid making the whole system break down. their not doing this out of kindness they know that short term gains and bankrupting their customers is not worth it when come tomorrow your business comes crashing down around you as its no longer financially viable in the face of Nuclear, solar wind and hydro power.

Yeah; pardon me for saying it, but if they've got all this money the government can tax, can't they just CHARGE LESS?

Actions, not words. Talk is cheap. Electricity, it seems, is REALLY EXPENSIVE
