Year sounds like the FSB is draining vital resources away from the army in some weird power struggle, its been reported they just barge in, take the best equipment and disappear wherever it shows up. Russian troops were partying in a converted school in Makiivka. The building also served as an ammunition cache and vehicle storage.
An Ukranian strike levelled the building, leading to about 63 casualties and 100 wounded. Ukranians were able to locate Russian troops by looking a mobile phone usage spikes, or soldiers leaving geotagging on while sharing photos on social media.
Almost every Russian military blogger, including those usually marching at the rhythm of Putin's propaganda drum, have called commanders incompetent, negligent, and criminal, for concentrating troops in a single building and not preparing any kind of defence.Comment

The US will provide 50 M2 Bradley IFVs to Ukraine, along other things (like Patriot missile batteries). Germany will send an undisclosed number of Marder IFVs, and one addition Patrior battery. France will give AMX-10RC wheeled reconnaisance vehicles instead, with no confirmation on how many.
Interesting to see Bradleys sent to Ukraine, that will most probably spur the replacement program for the vehicle into high gear.

UK now looks very likely to supply Challenger2 tanks to Ukraine. This will change the battlefield in Ukraines favour, Russia has nothing that will knock them out in a direct head to head, only heavy ordinance from air support will destroy a Challenger2.

That's quite funny actually, because Russia ran through their stock of antitank weapons on the 'lesser' tanks, only to now face a greater threat with no possible defence.Comment

In worse news Ukrainian looks set to loose the battle for Soledar which could open up more holes in their defensive line, Russia are pouring everything they have into this, both bad news but could draw vital resources away from other areas opening them up to Ukraine, we will see.
