Wagner group needs to think more carefully about its involvement. I get that they're for hire but they're clearly annoyed at the handling of the war and their own involvement in it and being sent in to take a territory is useless when Russia can't maintain the resources the hold it once taken so they're basioally willingly committing to letting themselves add to the body count ultimately. At some point they need to actively think a bit harder about their involvement as that support from Russia just isn't going to come.

In reality it’s Putin that needs to think very carefully on how he treats Wagner. Wagner group is more or less solely representing for guarding all of Putins bolt holes and stashed cash. The Central African Republic bolt hole reportedly has over $12b in gold and cash, all those stashes will disappear if Putin isn’t very very careful.
By not supporting Wagner a lot of the Russian front lines will collapse as well as its Wagner holding the whips.Last edited by fishbowlhead; 06-03-2023, 12:46.

Wagner are probably throwing inmates they recruited from Russian prisons, and less manpower will damage Russian efforts to advance in Ukranian territory. Can't say I feel sorry for criminals, but it surely sucks dying on the frontlines of a war of aggression like you are a conscript in WWII.

Putin obviously feels massively threatened by Wagner and wants them out the way as a non concern. Which should in theory blow back in Putins face if Wagner suddenly pulled off the front lines and then stole all his gold they are guarding, which is what I would do just out of spite at this stage.

Poland will transfer the first four Mig-29s (out of 14 or less) will be transferred to Ukraine, in a fully working status, within the next few days, according to Polish president Duda.
In addition to that, the Slovakian parliament unanimously approved transferring 13 more Mig-29s to Ukraine.
