Russia has a serious problem on its hands now, the people welcomed Wagner with open arms, units deserted the Russian army, none of that can be undone unless Putin just goes full Stalin now and purges everyone.

Putin's spokeperson laid out the point of the deal with Prigozhin:
All criminal charges against Prigozhin are dropped
Wagner fighters involved in insurrection will not be prosecuted
Prigozhin will move to Belarus
Wagner troops who didn't take part in the insurrection will have to sign contracts with the Russian MoD

Basically it's an exile and the end of Wagner.

Looks like the whereabouts of Russian top military brass, Sergei Shoigu and Valery Gerasimov are currently unknown after the deal was struck with Prighozin to stand down.

It very most likely was the deal, especially to put such an abrupt stop to such a dire situation, I would be surprised if they are ever seen again.

Things are still moving forward with Ukraine. They've taken some villages some way beyond the front line.
UK intel report today says that Russia is unlikely to have enough reservists to counter strike. Meaning that what Ukraine is taking back is staying Ukrainian.

Some nice gains and it sounds like there was enough chaos because of Wagner to take advantage of it.

"Bakhmut is fully controlled by the Armed Forces from the air, the occupiers are retreating from the northern streets," commander Denys Yaroslavskyi said.

"Defenders of Ukraine actually are working to take control of Klishchiivka and Berkhivka and its strategic heights near the city. After their capture, Bakhmut can be taken into an operational encirclement," he added.
