Denmark and The Netherlands have pledge up to 61 F-16s to Ukraine, though no news on when the planes will be transferred. Denmark has pledged 19, the rest are Dutch planes.
In the previous days, US officials commented that Ukranian F-16s would only become fully operative next year.

The Russians did make some fantastic looking planes and choppers - pity a lot of them were copies of western stuff ...that didn't work as well as the originals.Comment

They did pretty well with the mig29 vs it’s US equivalents but even that was outclassed at the time by quite a margin, great dogfighting capabilities are also useless when your enemy has a 10mile lock advantage and you can’t even see them on your radar.
Ukraine has done absolutely amazing without virtually any air support, when they have F16 close air support Russia will get a good kick in the teeth, as they won’t have uncontested skies.Comment
