Heard moves for the outcome of the trial to be thrown out. Whilst the appeal attempt was expected she has also gone after the Jury itself and the vetting process that was put in place. Specifically she seems to be claiming that Juror 15 is 25 years younger than the court papers stated. If successful Heard is calling for a complete re-trial. The notes also claim that the US jury verdict is faulty because it cannot contradict the UK verdict which is a play that not only is locked down hard to fail but also suggests either Heard's legal team is lying or they still don't understand what the UK trial was about.

The play is very likely an attempt to circle a formal appeal because Heard cannot afford to do that.

Amber Heard's payment of the trial verdict was to come from a $1m insurance policy that she had taken out except the insurer is now pursuing an outcome of non-payment as Heard was found to be the abuser with malicious intent meaning she wouldn't be covered

Heard has now declared herself bankrupt and is calling on the state of Virginia to declare the lawsuit sum void

Guess if she has no money she'll be letting her lawyers and PR team go...


If this is true, apparently Virginia law prohibits bankruptcy from being used as an excuse to avoid payment if malice was proven... which it was, so her latest bid will also fail.

I've seen it via twitter links too but apparently the attempts Heard made to say Depp was using irrelevant points about, that weren't permitted by her team, are that she worked as an escort and in a stripper club when she first arrived in LA. Basically, her trying to add extra things Depp never even mentioned.

Amber Heard has fired all of her legal representation except for Rottenborn and has replaced them with the team who successfully defended Sarah Palin in her defamation case earlier this year. She will now continue her pursuit of an appeal against the original trial outcome.

Yesterday Depp announced that he'd be directing his first film in 25 years in a co-production with Al Pacino, it seems like movement from Heard's side often falls synced with news Depp has. Hopefully the court makes a decision on the appeal application soon
