It’s absolutely insane that they sell these things in ordinary high street stores like Currys PC World, complete with a backside-covering sign that says you can only use them on private land. Yeah sure whatever.

Another passerby alleged the boy was moving at 50mph through residential streets while being chased for 15 minutes by a police vehicle, before colliding with the ambulance.
I try not to seem insensitive given the age of the kid but being chased at length by police in a car, then also that the pursuit had ended before the crash... so I'll leave my opinion of the quotes in the link and say just ban them already.
