Tiktok literally listens in to everything you say and what’s going on in your vicinity, the Chinese government doesn’t even need intelligence agents anymore, everyone has downloaded the keys to the kingdom right to their personal tracking devices, plus girls in bikinis obviously, there is a plus side.

If anyone in government on any level has it on their phone they should be escorted from the premises, phone removed and not allowed back on site until they have a gov approved handset that is completely locked down.

I really should look into these things more before giving the Torys the benfit of the doubt. it is as you say a hollow policy and looking more into this they are not implementing any of this stuff till 2025 at the earliest. Its here to distracts from the other stuff in the budget and is likely to never happen.

Its crazy that they can push through illegal immigration bills and anti protester bills in a matter of weeks but reforming childcare will take them 2-3 years before anything is put in place.

That's exactly it, one announcement and all the bad press from the Lineker/BBC/Immigration stories yesterday were swept away for something that many probably heard and thought was great and that they would be able to utilise from Septembers new year.

News just in, Tories won’t implement anything they say they will in shocker. Unless one of them starts a daycare agency that is, it won’t provide any daycare, but it sure will take a nice lump sum every month to say it will potentially maybe look at providing some at some stage.

The UK has been downgraded on the Civic Freedoms index, which is an international index regarding freedom a of movement and civil liabilities. We ar now at the same level as Hungary and El Salvador.

Moreover, from 2022 to 2023, Britain’s Corruption score has increased by five points, dropping its place in the global rankings from 11th to 18th place, which is the UK’s worst performance in the history of Transparency International’s Global Corruption Perceptions Index.

So while we in the UK are just sleepwalking into fascism and corruption, at least the world is well aware of it.

And this story was doing the rounds this morning. That apparently the European Courts are on the verge of crumbling their objections against the Rwanda deportation scheme. However, the only media covering it this morning were the ones invited by Braverman and whilst it's reported as fact there is zero evidence that this is remotely the case. The government source behind the comments is also Braverman herself meaning that we are beyond the point of influence or party leanings, this is a Government Minister formally co-opting a significant volume of the 'free' press for propaganda.
