There's a really ugly truth. This isn't a protest vote, it's not a celebrity culture zeitgeist moment.

It's a reflection of what lies at the heart of the American societal core.
The other bitter pill to swallow is that America is very, very, very far from alone.

The state of the man physically is anothe irony. For all the jibes Biden recieved, Trump - even in his winning speech - looks tired, low energy and a relative husk of the man who screamed his way out the door even four years ago. His voters would **** themselves if January hits and within days or weeks he keeled over and they were stuck with Vance for 4 years.

Then he'll make it illegal to charge the president of anything.

After that, his priority will be sorting out all his enemies. Silencing anyone who spoke out against him.

He'll obviously have sh1t thrown at him from the left and far-left for it but what other choice does he have?

He'll have to work with the Trump administration for the next four years at least (Trump can't actually stand for another term in 2028 but we all know he'll look to try and find a way to). And of course, while returning to the European Single Market is off the table, his economic choices are few and far between and I say that as somebody who isn't exactly a fan of the economic choices that he and Reeves have made so far.
