I agree with the folks above that AI generated attack ads have the potential to be extremely dangerous. It's going to be particularly lethal when it's deployed at scale by sockpuppet accounts, like the ones used to push Brexit through with anti-immigration memes.Comment

Advertising laws are weird in America, though.
When I first went there, I couldn't get over the direct assault on competitor's products.
In the UK it's like "The UK's most trusted brand (4 of 6 people said when polled)" or "The most effective brand on the market".
In America, it's like "Don't buy THIS ACTUAL BRAND, it's absolutely rubbish, buy ours instead."Comment
