I’m looking forward to all the new AI and Grimes collaboration tracks about Elon Musk having hair plugs, being a massive man baby and offering a horse in exchange for a favour.

Yeah that gave the phrase 'horse trading' a whole new dimension.

I agree with the folks above that AI generated attack ads have the potential to be extremely dangerous. It's going to be particularly lethal when it's deployed at scale by sockpuppet accounts, like the ones used to push Brexit through with anti-immigration memes.

The company claimed “a targeted campaign of government retaliation,” which it said stemmed from its criticism of a contentious state education law.

DeSantis has Disney's new contracts torn up so the moment has come - Disney has filed a lawsuit against him and his board that pretty much nails them for exactly what they've done and could end his ambitions to chase the Presidency

That's behind a paywall, so here's The Guardian's article on it:
Entertainment giant wants court to overturn governor’s efforts to exert control over Walt Disney World theme parks in Orlando

EDIT: Just read that and despite DeSantis and his lawyers saying:
"Jeremy Redfern, his deputy press secretary, said in a statement posted on Twitter: “We are unaware of any legal right that a company has to operate its own government or maintain special privileges not held by other businesses in the state.

“This lawsuit is yet another unfortunate example of their hope to undermine the will of the Florida voters and operate outside the bounds of the law.”"

It really doesn't feel like it's the US Government denying privileges to a business that others don't receive, it feels like it's one man having a tantrum because Disney stood up to him.

Political adverts should be banned from discussing the opposition and should only be allowed to lie, sorry talk about the things that party will do.

Advertising laws are weird in America, though.

When I first went there, I couldn't get over the direct assault on competitor's products.

In the UK it's like "The UK's most trusted brand (4 of 6 people said when polled)" or "The most effective brand on the market".

In America, it's like "Don't buy THIS ACTUAL BRAND, it's absolutely rubbish, buy ours instead."

Yeah, I still remember seeing ads in the 90s saying...

"At McDonald's, you're getting a great deal for your dollar... IN FAT! Arby's super maple ranch chicken falcon burger offers you the same filling meal at the same price, with half the fat!"

Like they literally name their competitors and call them out. It's bizarre.

Ah man, I like Jamie Foxx. If you watch him on Roundtables or interviews he seems like a really down to earth and genuinely funny guy.
