Not so much in the same way but with her there was a huge lifting of the veil element and I'm hoping a similar effect happens with Trump more from the fence sitting voters.
Those who support him will be completely unshifting just as those who hate him will be also but for those swing voters in the middle, despite everything, I imagine there's still too much disconnect from the reality of him. He controls his own narrative far too often and I think the idea to passive voters that this is purely politically motivated by the Democrats is too easy a sell in a world where Trump Era politics has become so normalised. To have one of the trials publicly hold him to account, where his BS comments legally bind his defence so he has to be more minded of what he says and to have that equal standing platform to the crushing weight of testimony and evidence against him is key.
I imagine this trial will be one of the only times in his life he's ever been answerable to someone else and it will drive him insane that it's played out in front of the public. He'll still BS and I imagine he'll easily talk himself into trouble with the Judge but I'm hoping (though I know he'll still get a healthy voting percentage behind him) this drives a wooden stake through his election winning chances

Originally posted by Neon Ignition View PostLinda Yaccarino, the chief executive of X, said last month that the platform had become a safer place under Musk’s ownership. “By all objective metrics*, X is a much healthier and safer platform than it was a year ago,”
Musk bought the site in October 2022 and the platform subsequently reinstated extremists and conspiracy theorists, while allowing the harassment of former members of its now-dissolved trust and safety council.
*objective metrics is marketing speak for "We are only using the data we agree with".
He has to have someone to blame for his drop in revenue going after anti hate groups is a weird angle though, sacking all his staff, destroying systems that draw people to the site, jetisoning a reconised brand and his overall unpredictably are why i would say advertising is down.
It's not rocket science, to fix twitter i would reinstate the old blue tick method • Change its name back to twitter • re-ban all the nutjobs and hate groups • Lastly this ones the most important one here, immediately remove Musk from any and all correspondence and decision making at twitter.Last edited by Lebowski; 05-09-2023, 16:36.
