i think i need to go home i read that as Greek wedding, i was thinking is a giant swords and star trek unifoms some greek tradition like smashing plates is

It's more likely there were a load of pots to smash and a couple had 10 Rupees in it.

I heard this on the news and was genuinely surprised to hear this:
San Mateo County Board of Supervisors President Dave Pine told the Associated Press news agency that the attacks were committed by a "disgruntled worker".
