Elon Musk attempting to sue advertisers for choosing not to advertise on X because he turned it into a ****hole: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cn47798gxx4o

It's taken a year, but there's been a major influx of users from Twitter to Threads in the last 48 hours.
A mixture of Musk's "civil war" comments, his behaviour and the downward cycle of bots and right-wing commentary have been the final straw.
It must be tough to step away if you've got loads of followers.
Not an issue I was plagued with, though!

Like Trump, it amazes me that he's attributed with far more accomplishment and knowledge than he should be. It's quite Trump like in the way those who admire him prop him and his ego up. He's a savvy investor in terms of identifying future tech trends, largely through observed knowledge via his fathers career. He's invented jack **** and is otherwise as thick as a plank of wood. Twitter has been a disaster because it plays into his ego too heavily and is outside his field of knowledge, he thinks because it appears to be tech related it's one and the same as the other ventures he has. That he's so hands on is also a give away, the other companies that he's had success with don't operate via his direct management and that's why they work. Tesla, Paypal, X etc weren't his creation. The closest is SpaceX which he did form and set up but it's literally hired geniuses that make it what it is, the man himself knows F all but how to invest. He's arguably a bigger **** than Trump, with Trump there's a sliver... a sliver of argument to be made - based on what he was like pre-2016 - that Trump is the way that he is now due to his experiences in the past 8 years and that he's almost dependent on what he's doing due to the legal jeopardy that he's in. Musk is in no such a situation and is simply **** because it's outright how he is at his core and he revels in it.
