I think this has been around a while, although there are obviously still studies being done. I was trawling a tinnitus forum a while back and results seemed to be very mixed and many saw no improvements.Comment

A cure for tinnitus would great. I have a permanent ringing in my right ear at about 12kHz and while I’ve gotten used to it I’d be happy to get shot of it. I have Metallica live in ‘91 to thank for thatComment

I've had it for about ten years, but mild. Very high pitched in both ears. If I think about it, it's really annoying. So I avoid that.
No idea how it started, but I don't habitually listen to loud things. Always wore ear plugs motorcycling. Maybe booze? I'm not a mega drinker.Comment
