Yeah, I'm inclined to agree. You're obviously not going to win an election by saying "Vote for us to get rid of the NHS", but you might campaign on reducing bureaucracy in the health system, reducing wait times, etc etc. The actual reality of what that will mean in practise - dismantling the NHS piecemeal to satisfy high concept far right ideology and more quotidian personal financial greed - will be direly warned against in a million Guardian op-eds, approximately zero of which will be read by all the people voting for the right wing, who will blithely **** up our country just as they did in the 2016 referendum.
