eBay dork drama is all resolved now - after receiving yet another late night threatening message saying they were going to "take action" against me if eBay didn't remove my feedback. I went on the live chat bot and without doing anything automatically it processed a full refund. They haven't even got their package back yet, but the guy I talked to last said as long as delivery had been attempted it counts as received. I got the Paypal Emails about 10 minutes after, it's all back in my account. And in the meantime, somebody else has left negative feedback for their item too (a Taiwanese Gamate Handheld, of all things) - misdescribed, not in the condition stated, sent in a child's shoebox with little padding, insulted over messages, etc. Not a great week for this numb nuts. Feel sorry for whoever buys their PC Engine GT for £649, it's probably full of dead wasps and will be sent inside an old lasagne box.

Now they're blocked and are presumably shouting into a void, though I'm curious what will happen with the package - the Royal Mail already tried to deliver it twice without success, wondering if it's ultimately going to come back in the post. At the very least I might get my bubblewrap back.

I hope the hints were good enough! If you've got the one where the numbers after their trading name are the same as James Bond, you've got it... there's a lot of things people on here would be interested in so didn't want anyone else being burned, but they strike me as the kind of nutter who Googles themselves and I don't want them washing up on here like a deflated air bed.

Being that we've got so much mileage from his "get your facts right", might as well give you the stunning finale before I blocked them:
Your feedback is a total lie so I'm asking you to either edit it and put the truth that I waited almost 3 weeks for you to return the item and then when I messaged you and said I'm not a charity which I'm not you got angry and left the feedback. You also didn't open a return for a week. you said you weren't going to send it back that's because you still bought it at half the price they sell so please stop the rubbish talk. This is my business and if eBay doesn't take action and remove this I will take action against you myself because come on you having a laugh [Hirst] ain't you? You said in your feedback you already sent the item which again is not true at all when i had messaged you. you only got angry and left the feedback because i basically told you hurry up and send it back.

Not that I really need to defend it, but the delay was them posting it late and me giving them extra time to locate the missing Pocketstation they completely failed to put in the box. It got returned well within the time eBay gave me and I never once said to them I'd keep it, what was there to keep? A smelly box, broken controller, no Pocketstation and a game worth about £10 I've already got - yeah that's well worth me losing £60 over when eBay see the return label hasn't been scanned at the Post Office. Hardly "The Sting" is it.

The weirdest thing is that they started getting abusive after it had already been in the post back 2 days, which they'd have been notified about as soon as I did it. And despite their supposed desperation to get it back, the Royal Mail have already tried to deliver it twice and they haven't answered the door or responded to them to do a pickup/redelivery/etc. Watching the tracking with interest to see what happens today.

Inside I was terrified at the gall but I just pretended to be my mother who can be a badass.

I'm still buzzing from the time I spoke out not once but TWICE at ****ty behaviour at winter London Comicon 2019 when I called out a guy trying to jump a queue and a drunk loud woman playing a video on her phone of same drunk loud woman being drunk and loud. I told her to please turn it down and she spent the entire journey complaining loudly to her friend that she turned the video (that she played for 2 mins) on by accident

Not as busy any more! I went on this morning and their entire shop, listings, username - all gone. Whether it’s that they closed it themselves, eBay have stepped in and suspended them, don’t know. The live chat guy seemed keen to get me to report their messages so it could be looked at formally. Maybe a few other people did the same and it was a death by a thousand cuts situation. Or they’ve just not paid their eBay bill.

Ah well, hopefully that’s the end of the story - but I note they still haven’t collected the returned item from the Post Office. Will I get the stinky box back in a few weeks? Wait and see!

Seriously, I'm just so tired of everything being a disappointment.

Overall I think I would agree but regarding the mobile connection I'm tentatively guessing it could be your provider. I travel on the West Coast Mainline a bit and my business phone was always hit and miss with the signal dropping out travelling from Picc-Eus but we changed last year to a different company and now I get a perfect 5G connection all the way and it's very rare indeed that my VPN drops out and if it does it's straight back on.
My personal phone though along that route is a different story.

Yeah and their About Page shows a different name entirely too, clearly not their first rodeo! Very strange! My Feedback is still there but you have to specifically go into the Negatives to see it, finding another one about a knackered Tails Sky Patrol that wasn’t there before either. They still haven’t picked up their return parcel as well. Odd character all round, but I’ve got my cash so eh, lesson learned.
