Scotch pancakes I can deal with. Slightly toasted with some ice cream, syrup and strawberries.

My wife got a waffle maker for her birthday which is just awesome!!

UK pancakes don't compare. I'd rather turn the batter into.Yorkshire puddings to accompany a nice roast.

I'm a thin crepe-like pancake fancier with sugar and lemon traditionally, my nan used to make them that way so that was my favourite. She was an excellent cook and made the best pancakes, she would flip them and do a twirl at the same time. My mother is also an amazing cook but she never, ever could master pancakes so we only ever had them when visiting my grandparents usually around Easter.

My amazing husband made the best ive tasted since my nans passing though today, made with bananas and more the American style with some chocolate chips in, a drizzle of golden syrup and a knob of butter on top. What a fantastic breakfast! Defiantly want those again!
