That's a fair point and Greens can steal some Tory voters, but Reform feels like they're for people who feel the Tories aren't racist enough.
Anyone see this exchange in Parliament this week?
Lee Anderson is asking Jess Phillips about progress into the enquiry into grooming gangs - remember, the Tories did one but didn't carry out any of the 16 recommendations - only to ask "is she part of the cover-up?" So shameful, he got booed and some MPs shouted "Shame"

Politicians can basically say anything now. Their fans will love them for it and won't read the retraction.

At current time of writing, 49 of the 98 available local council seats up for grabs have been won by Reform.
It's almost like getting into power on a mandate of change (despite not being popular) only to emulate Tory austerity and then talking down to people who have been hard-****ed by said Tory austerity for the last fourteen years and telling them that they're the problem if they breakaway from the status quo that clearly isn't working for them (instead of creating the proper change that said current Gov't was elected to do) doesn't work. Ho hum.
I obviously hope I'm wrong, but it feels like, barring a true political miracle, we're circling the drain before Farage and Reform somehow win power at the next GE.Last edited by Nu-Eclipse; Today, 13:12.

Pretty awful results. The taboo on voting for fascists is broken and we can only hope they fall from favour.
The only consolation is that Labour clung on here in the West of England.
Will be interested to see the results in full however which might give some positives for progressive parties in some areas at least.
