Labour plays down thei past anti-Trump comments having an impact on UK-US relations.

They're 100% correct too. Badenoch is already trying to make it an issue for them but it will fail because she will inevitably take all the wrong lessons from Trump's win.
Labour will be absolutely fine with Trump regardless of what they've said before and there's a very clear explaination as to why.

    JD Vance

Vance is a perfect example of Trump's mindset. Vance has openly criticised Trump and look where he is now. Trump doesn't care about past comments as long as you're willing to get on your knees and kiss the ring which is precisely what Lammy and Starmar will do now.

Labour: Fiery campaign claims may not happen.
That’s right, Trump is completely harmless. There will be peace in our time. 🙄

Spot on. As long as you bend the knee and humiliate yourself he doesn't give a **** what you said in the past. In fact he probably likes it better this way.

Besides he simply doesn't care about the UK one way or the other.

I remember seeing one time that our Prime Minister saw the President of the USA inappropriately touching the tea lady and he stood up to him in a press conference.

This is real life, yo, not a rom com.

But seriously, Starmer better not get too cosy with Trump, the man is wildly unpopular here and it will reflect poorly on him.

I think he's handled this fairly well, to be honest.
He said it's "old news", he's met and had a meal with Trump and it wasn't even an issue.

Trump has enemies, but loves it when they come back with their tails between their legs:

Well, maybe it's to their credit that, among this whole bunch, they seem to be able to be absolutely horrible to each other and can then put their differences aside later and cosy up to each other... so they can briefly profit until Trump inevitably turns on them again.

It'll be all chummy chummy until Trump insists on designing the next Tesla:

In other news, Equatorial Guinea Civil servants caught having sex in their offices will face "severe measures", the vice-president of Equatorial Guinea has warned after hundreds of allegedly pornographic videos were leaked to the public.

The videos reportedly involve high-ranking civil servant Baltasar Ebang Engonga having sex with various women - including the wives of prominent officials - in his office.

Mr Engonga is head of the country's National Financial Investigation Agency and also a relative of the country's president.

                        Baltasar? Ebang alright.
