Trussonomics redux married with the sociopathy of the Cameron/Osborne years. Not a great sign for the next year to come as the Tories get increasingly desperate.

Home secretary described Stockton as ‘****-hole’, MP claims | James Cleverly | The Guardian
James Cleverley has faced calls to resign as Home Secretary just 10 days into the role after being caught on film calling Stockton on Tees a ****hole. Coward that he is, Cleverley has claimed innocence despite the evidence and yet has refused to contest the claim and chickened out of appearing when it was raised afterward.
Presumably Cleverly is too busy focusing on stopping the boats...
... from crossing the London Ring Road

The latest date for the election is 28 January 2025, and to suggest that they've never even discussed that date is either a lie, or, if they haven't, it just shows how incompetent the Tories are.

No bounce for the Tories after tax-cutting budget, poll shows | Opinion polls | The Guardian
Seen in some quarters as their last chance to score favour with the public, the tax cut pitch failed with Labour slightly extending their lead. The Tories have exhausted every attack angle now so seem deadset to waste their remaining time in power in-fighting
