The Tory big beasts set to lose seats as new poll predicts election wipeout (inews.co.uk)
The Big-Name Tories Who Could Lose Their Seats At The General Election (yahoo.com)
Conservatives set for worst election result yet, research shows | Labour | The Guardian
Tories are on course to lose 2/3's of their seats as they continue with an approach that ignores the extent to which they are alienating voters. Such is the extent of the potential losses, Labour may end up with a majority of over 150 seats. Additionally the seats for Penny Mordaunt, Jacob Rees-Mogg, Jeremy Hunt, James Cleverly, Grant Schapps, Michael Gove, Michelle Donelan, Iain Duncan Smith, David Davies and possibly even Rishi Sunak may now be at risk. Another poll from a few days earlier suggests and even heavier Tory loss.

You seen this about William Wragg?
He's the Conservative MP for for the Greater Manchester constituency of Hazel Grove and the the vice-chairman of the 1922 committee of backbench Tory MPs.
Well, he's been on Grindr and sending photos of his bits to potential dates.
Except, they're not dates, they're blackmailers.
So they demanded that he give them the personal numbers of MPs and political journalists.
Which he did.
So, did he immediately report this to the police? No.
Is he getting the whip suspended? No.
Instead, he's getting praise from his peer, Jeremy Hunt, for being "courageous" in admitting to The Times that he's sorry for the hurt he's caused.

Exactly. An MP has been severely compromised, but Sunak doesn't want to offend the guy in charge of the committee that handles the "no confidence" letters or lose yet another MP.
Can't believe a bigger fuss isn't being made of this.
Marina Hyde nails it, as usual:

Laughable that he's not felt compelled to step down as an MP or been fired for this. He'll limp along until the next general election when he planned to step down anyway.
You wonder who'll be left at the next election. Nearly 100 MPs are standing down, over 60 of which are Conservatives.
The average age of Labour MPs standing down is 69, for the Conservatives, it's 55.
This election is seeing the constituency boundaries changed, leading to some MPs deciding to step aside as their seat is gutted or entirely excised.

The whole Rwanda planes thing has been a joke.
Said as an off-hand comment as a dead cat on a day Johnson was getting called out, they've now had to make it a reality.
It doesn't seem to be a vote winner, based on recent local elections, just a money pit at a time where local councils are having to declare bankruptcy after funding cuts.

I know not everything is feast or famine; but there are countries around the world who have comparably aggressive immigration & repatriation policies, like Japan, or Australia. If there was the political will to do it, you could sew up the borders, spend the money to beef up checks at airports, and, critically, significantly increase funding to sort and process people who come to the country 'seeking asylum' and so on, making it more difficult for them to simply vanish into the body population. Like this isn't an unsolvable problem.
But as we all know, the Tories don't really want to do this. They want to sound like they're trying but the 'lefty woke mob' are stopping them, because as the party of wealth and landlords, they need migrants to prop up the economy.
Gutless, and liars. You couldn't make it up.
