Beautiful You can't beat days like that. Come on Spurs, keep it going!

I was delighted for Spurs. Really hope they can get that CL place.

Gutting, so close to winning it at the end with the Bale free kick and resulting scramble. Thought Tom Hudd was gonna blast it into the net when it fell to him

Oh well, that's Spurs for you! A win for Man Utd tomorrow would be most welcome (even a draw) but we can't blame anyone but ourselves if they don't get something. We didn't play well enough today, could have been in a great position with a win.

I met a few players afterwards though (by met I mean I said hi and well done) I saw a load of people hanging around a coach, realised it was the Spurs coach and decided I may as well wait as I'm not going home until the morning.

Tom Carroll, Dembele, Walker and Hotlby did the most signing / posing for pics More signed but didn't go the whole way around the railings, lazy buggers

Points-wise Spurs are where I expected them to be - I thought a draw against Man. City and a win over Wigan but the reverse happened. The results for Arsenal, Chelsea and, coming up from behind, Everton were OK-ish for us too.Having looked at the fixture list it looks, on paper, as if Spurs do have a great opportunity for maximum points from the remaining games. The Chelsea match will be critical ie. we certainly can't afford to lose it. However as long as we don't slip up against the others (most worried by the Stoke match) we likely won't have to rely on Arsenal or Chelsea messing up to be in the top four at the end of the season.

Indeed, thanks to Arsenal drawing with Man Utd our destiny is in our own hands, no favours needed from anyone else. Win our four remaining matches, we get a Champions League spot, nice and simple.

What I wouldn't give for four uneventful, routine, straightforward wins for Spurs! For some reason I have a hunch that it'll be a tad more nail-biting than that

Yep, Spurs never do things the easy way. As you say: it is still in their hands but however they do it it'll be a fully deserved reward for their efforts throughout the season.

Interview with Benny Assou-Ekotto in The Guardian. Always a good read, I love our Benny

I was hoping to walk through the front door and be greeted with shouts of "QPR just scored a last minute equaliser!" but not to be

Doing our own job though, just, so it's still in our own hands. We were not good today (especially first half) and if Southampton had been a couple up at the break I wouldn't have complained. They deserved at least a point but thankfully we managed to grab a very important three points for ourselves. Performances would be nice, but right now, we just want those points!

Yet another great hit by Bale, it just had to be him today! I will say though that Adebayor was excellent when he came on, made a real difference, ran his arse off so instead of Southampton being able to pass it out comfortably from the back he forced them into hoofing it quite a few times allowing us to win back possession. I really hope he can play like that for the final three games, it'd be a real bonus.

So, Wednesday night, that's gonna be fun COYS, three more wins!!

Definitely not convincing yesterday but we won and that's the important thing. GB's goal was straight out of Roy Of The Rovers, Player of the year, young player of the year and a superbly struck, essential winning goal, almost unbelievable. Not a good result for Spurs today, thanks Man.Utd Just hope we can do a better job.

Yeah, our chances of a third place finish have taken a hit, but at least a top four finish is still in our own hands. Even if Chelsea had lost or drawn today we'd still have needed a win on Wednesday to get us back into the top four ahead of the final two matches of the season.

Fingers crossed that the headlines on the Thursday morning back pages will be about AVB's triumphant return to Stamford Bridge and not about Chelsea getting one over on their old boss!

I think I aged a lot during that match! I think we showed great fight and spirit to come back from behind twice so in the sense we did well to get a point. Our best spell was the final twenty minutes and it's a shame we couldn't have nicked it, if only that Bale free kick had gone in at the end! Deserved man of the match champagne for Adebayor tonight, I thought he was sensational. If he'd played like that all season... annoying ****er

Out of our hands now in the race for the top four, but hopefully we will at least win our remaining two games and go down fighting, and you never know what might happen in other matches. We have to get a win at Stoke and at least put the pressure on Arsenal ahead of their match with Wigan. With Wigan fighting for their lives, if they can nick a point at the Emirates that would be enough to get us back ahead.

However it turns out, I'm really happy with AVB's debut season. Lost a lot of creativity with the sale of Modric and VdV, lost Kaboul for the whole season, Sandro for half the season, yet we've put up a real fight for a CL place (which is not over yet!! ) and even taken the Europa League seriously. Get players back from injury, make some good signings in the summer, and the future looks bright. COYS!

Skin of our teeth stuff. Not as disasterous as a loss but now, barring Arsenal and Chelsea going into melt down, Spurs are pretty much certain to need all six points from the last two games. Even then Arsenal must still drop at least two points from the remaining six or, far less likely, Chelsea drop four.I've had this horrible feeling all along it would come down to GD and, even with a goal fest against Stoke and Sunderland, Spurs are going to pay for all those missed goal scoring opportunities they had earlier in the season.

Get in! Adebayor suddenly scoring some vital goals!

We've done our job, hopefully a pumped up Wigan and the pressure of needing a win will get to Arsenal and Wigan can get a draw or win.

All we can do now is keep our fingers crossed!
