Any member of the board should have a right to comment (we do live in a free country). It shouldn't matter at all if your Club went through the same or not.

This is a debating forum is it not ?

Debating. Or what next , only True Blue Die-hard Sonic fans can possible be allowed to comment on Sonic games, know the score.

Sure one can get very emotional over their Club (that why people love sport) , but that should mean rival fans shouldn't be allowed to comment or express an opinion a view.
Lots of fans have been shafted by owners, the likes of Cardiff , Leeds (they tried to live the dream too) Southampton, Portsmouth, Wrexham, Bradford, Barnsley, palace and God only knows how many more clubs over the years, know what its all about

Liverpool are practically an institution of the league . Lots of football fans, from all walks of life, will have a view and opinion and should be allowed to express that view, in a free country, and a open forum

Agree entirely but consistently going over the same points that people have offered differing, constructive viewpoints on many, many times previously, strikes me as antagonistic.

That depends, consistency blaming the Americans time and time again, is no more constructive than people saying Liverpool squad just isn't good enough. That doesn't mean that both points aren't valued though.

I think a lot of Liverpool failings is down to constant managers wasting a hell of a lot of money on players, that just aren't up to Liverpool standards , never mind good enough to challenge for the Title, That has been the a problem long before the Americans came.

Liverpool aren't a special case , many fans having been through far worse.

Liverpool will almost certainly face a points deducation if RBS call in the loan. As Liverpool are the only major part of Kop holdings the West Ham ruling doesn't apply (and there's a precedent indicating the FA will come to this decision).

It's ultimately going to come down to RBS as no matter what the court rules on the ownership, the other side will appeal (there's a £100million loss / people's jobs to be fought over). RBS can choose to hold off a decision for a month but they're already said before that the last deal was the last bone they'd throw the owners. I'd imagine the risk levels for RBS are well beyond what they'd consider acceptable for Joe Public.

I think we will get special treatment (not saying we should like).

Yes really. The circumstances may be different but untimately the club was in a mess which was something of a worry for the fans.

I would agree with that. I feel he has made a few mistakes but now is the time to correct them and surely he can.

To think, he is actually paid to spew forth this kind of ****e.
The Souness side was so much worse on paper it isn't even comparable to now.

Fantastic player, but like so many good players, he knows nothing about football.

Maybe so but it is still the worst side since Souness and that is bad enough.

                              On paper? Probably not.

I know I'm not above a chuckle when a bigger team than mine is performing poorly on the pitch, but a 9 point penalty and all the other mess that's going on has rapidly stopped being funny.

Would they be so spiteful as to block the sale, have the whole thing go into administration, points penalty, possible relegation... just because they think the offer they've had isn't as big as they wanted?
