Good result last night, and I managed to get home before 11! \o/
Crouch and Torres played brilliantly. Crouch is a superb player, who comes in for a lot of stick, basically because he's not the prettiest of pigs. Sure he doesn't have the flair of some players but the guy is consistent, good at heading, passing, shooting, a great all rounder, and makes a wonderful combo with Fernandoschicken. Kewell was very good, thought he was gonna loose his rag at one point, but yeah nice result.

Was good to see Kewell playing and looking pretty sharp, i hope he gets a decent run now cause he is a quality player just has bad luck.

We didn't panic or try and force the game. Well deserved win.

Torres does take us up doesn't he. The best striker this club has had since Michael Owen.

Crouch DOES have flair. His touches are often sumptuous and he rolls the ball around in control better than most strikers. He also hjas a good set of flicks and some amazing strikes. The overheads last season for instance. If that is not flair, what is?

Crouch is very skillful. He has an excellent touch.

              for a big man......

I am getting more and more annoyed at the Crouch knockers - I can't help but think a lot of them should watch him play without commentary to make their own minds up.

"For a big man" shouldn't come into it it. He's one of the most skillful in the team when it comes to certain techiques such as receiving the ball and dribbling. Could do with a bit more praccy in departments you'd think he'd have great advantage in, like heading Seems to be getting better there, though.

Crouch's scoring record for club and country should be enough to convince anyone of his quality.

hoolak, sorry bit of an in joke. On the Guardian website they call him a "Good Touch for a Big Man", GTFABM.

He is one of the most skillful strikers in the country, no doubt. The way he takes the ball down and brings people into play is something very few people are aware of - especially England Managers who play in a way that is alien to him - ball up top!

Indeed, very few players can trap a difficult ball when being marked by 2 or 3 players as well as Crouch does.

Can't wait for MOTD, sounded like a good game. A good whooping Eh, we're in 3rd

Sounded very sweet - though i heard it on the never unbiased .tv

I wonder how much of the game they will show. Will they even mention the fact we are clear of Man Utd with better GD. Or that we have been "****e/in crisis/season" ended yet still have the same GD as the saintly and gorgeous Arsenal team who scythe through all teams? Or have a game in hand on Chelsea.

Looking good recently but I feel there is more to come. The more to come being....Alonso and Agger! I also imagine that Babel will develop as a premiership player and Kuyt will get over his dip in form. I guess others will dip in form but hopefully they can be covered. I think we need a defender though - the only place we don't have genuinely reliable cover (though Hobbs was apparently very good).

My goodness. Just saw the Anelka miss on MOTD. Oh dear

Hey, I am geninely surprised that they mentioned NONE of those things, The analysis was basically to show Kewell making mistakes and making Bolton look bad. Even when they showed thee table, they explained that Man U can overtake us tomorrow (neglecting to mention they will have played a game more). My dad missed the Torres goal and they didn't even replay it in the analysis even though it was a GREAT pass and finish. Really disappointed with that coverage.

Don't worry about what MOTD or any media gob ****es say, as long as we keep up the form, before to long they will have to start to mention us seriously.
