Yup, all the vitriol that will be aimed at McClaren (and I'll be guilty of that too) but the performance sounds so bad that our "world class" ( ) players need to take more of the blame even than McClaren.

I've got to admit, I've felt so let down by the boring and lacklustre nature of the England team for the past 7 or 8 years that I'm secretly enjoying this a fair bit! It's laughable, so we may as well laugh.

I don't think so. In the past few tournaments some of the most boring matches I've seen have involved England. The only time we put in a performance that's exciting to watch is when we go out on penalties.
